Visual Arts Ministry

An art ministry is simply a group of artists who use their artistic gifts to bring glory to God through acquiring, using, displaying, training and developing visual art at Alderwood Community Church. The Visual Arts Ministry is all about connecting and discovering!

  • Connecting with other artists of all ages and skill levels - to discover and build fun and supportive relationships!
  • Connecting with opportunities to learn and grow as artists - and discovering new creative techniques and venues!
  • Connecting with our community - and discovering how we can have a positive influence on the arts in Snohomish County!
  • Connecting with God, our Master Creator, and discovering new ways to deepen our relationship with Him through our art!
  • Connect with our community in new and creative ways by using the arts as our common language.

Opportunities for involvement include participation in the annual ACC Art Exhibit, monthly gatherings with ART SCENE for a time of fellowship and artistic growth, and the Journey Art Ministry for middle-school girls where girls can discover and practice their artistic gifts by creating their own art journals. JAM is led by practicing ACC artists. If you have further questions about our meeting times, please contact Dean Huber at or 425.478.4079.
