Hello Preschool Families,
This is my first newsletter as the preschool director and it has been really fun for me to make. I loved finding things to share with all of you. Being a nanny I know that winter is a time where the weather makes it difficult to go outside and then the kids can go a little stir crazy being stuck inside. I tried to make this newsletter revolve around the winter blues. The holidays are over and the excitement has worn off and now the kids are looking for new adventures.
The next few months during the 8:30am hour your children will be continuing through the book of Genesis, they will be hearing stories about Isaac, Jacob and Esau, and Joseph. During the 10:00 and 11:30am service your kids will be hearing about Jesus and his life on Earth. I've included the entire schedule on the back of the newsletter I encourage you to look it over so you can discuss all the stories with your kids before or after they hear them on Sundays. Our story tellers (Francis Webb, Dr. Mike Rohrenbach, John Klipp, and Claire Woodyard) do a wonderful job preparing stories and finding good ways to share them with your children. Our focus is presenting God's love by sharing his word. I encourage you to help your child focus before Sunday School by
reminding them to be a good listener and ask them questions about the story later.
