| Growing Up: |
Moved to Seattle at age 8 and have lived here since. Proud graduate of Queen Anne High School, class of 1968. Watched them build the Space Needle and attended opening day of the World’s Fair, April 21, 1962. Boy, do I sound old. I love the Pacific Northwest. |
| Family: |
Wife Debbie - happily married since June 1977. Son Adam is married to the lovely Stephanie, and they attend ACC with our grandkids Claire and James. Daughter Sally works full time and is exploring her many talents including writing, music and cooking. I love the fact that both our kids are extremely musical. |

| Past Employment: |
U.S. Navy, 1972-1977. Various radio advertising jobs until I joined CRISTA Broadcasting in1983. Mostly at CRISTA since then, serving 8 years as General Manager of CRISTA Broadcasting (Spirit 105.3, KCIS and Praise 106.5) and as CRISTA's Vice President for Donor Relations. Since 2008 I've been Corporate Partnerships Manager for Seattle Symphony. |
| Activities/Hobbies: |
Music, gardening, walking in downtown Edmonds, get-aways with Debbie, gatherings with friends |
| Why ACC: |
The perfect combination of a church that offers warm fellowship and solid spirituality. ACC was our "first" church after we came to Christ in the early 1980's. I love how the church has deep roots and yet is always evolving to meet the needs of a changing population - without sacrificing our Biblical stance. Debbie and I enjoy our Life Group and our Boomers & Friends adult fellowship. ACC is a great place for a follower of Christ to find true community. |
| Great times at ACC: |
Mostly surrounding times of fellowship - Sunday School classes and friendships we have developed. We also get great joy teaching the Love & Respect marriage classes. |
Favorite Books:
|
Blue Like Jazz, Donald Miller
The Testament, John Grisham
Wild at Heart, John Eldredge
The Lord of the Rings, J.R.R. Tolkien |
| Favorite Music: |
Extremely eclectic tastes - everything from old Beatles to Bruce Hornsby, Mozart to the Newsboys, Chris Tomlin to The Eagles to Steve Tyrrell. Not a Country fan - sorry. |
| Remember me for: |
A terrific marriage, a wonderful family, a good sense of humor, a spirit of personal warmth and a life of integrity, serving Christ. |
